The founder of the company has over 20 years cross sector experience in the Information and Records Management sector working at senior level as both an employee and contractor in Central and Local Government and in SMEs. He has been a part time [paid] lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University and a guest lecturer at Aberystwyth & Salford Universities.

David is a longstanding member of the British committee for ISO 15489 (Archives & Records Management) and has recently been appointed to the new BSI 10012 committee on Data Protection. For the past 12 years he has been an employee of Flintshire County Council providing records management and information governance mainly to FCC and Flintshire schools.

For the past 4 years he has been Data Protection adviser to GWE the North Wales schools regional service and is a registered WASPI [Wales Accord on Sharing Personal Information] ISP facilitator. He has also been Records Management contact to The National Crime Agency, North Wales Serious Crimes Unit and various enquiries including the current Goddard Inquiry.
